Hope Primary Care: Frequently Asked Questions

Do we accept patients without insurance?

Yes! Hope Primary Care welcomes self-pay patients. We offer upfront cash-pay options for patients without insurance or those who prefer to pay out of pocket. Please contact our office for current self-pay pricing.

What if I can't make it to my appointment?

We understand that things happen and plans can change. If you are

unable to make your scheduled appointment, we kindly ask that you notify our office as soon as possible so we can make that appointment time available to another patient. Please refer to our cancellation and no-show policy under patient resources tab.

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes! Hope Primary Care welcomes new patients for primary care, women's health, and pediatric services. Contact our office or use our online scheduling option to get started.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Please bring a valid photo ID, your insurance card (if applicable), a

current list of your medications, and any relevant medical records or information from previous healthcare providers. Parents or guardians should also bring any available immunization records for pediatric patients.

Do you provide women's health services?

Yes. We offer routine women's health services, including well-woman

exams, Pap smears, cervical cancer screening, contraceptive counseling, Nexplanon insertion and removal, pregnancy testing, STI screening, and evaluation of common women's health concerns.

Do you offer pediatric care?

Do you offer annual physicals and wellness visits?

Yes. We provide routine physical examinations and preventive

health visits, including annual wellness exams and Medicare Annual Wellness Visits when applicable.

Do you offer same-day or sick visits?

Same-day and sick appointments may be available based on the day's schedule. We recommend calling the office or checking online scheduling for the most current availability.

What ages do you see?

Hope Primary Care provides care for children, adolescents, and adults. Please contact our office if you have questions about a specific service or age requirement.

Do you perform procedures in the office?

Yes. Select minor procedures are available based on your individual

needs and provider evaluation. These may include joint injections, ingrown toenail treatment, incision and drainage of minor abscesses, Nexplanon insertion and removal, therapeutic injections, earwax removal, and basic wound care.

Can I get lab testing at my appointment?

Yes. Select point-of-care testing may be performed in the office, and

additional laboratory testing can be ordered when medically appropriate. Availability depends on the type of testing needed.

How do I get my test results?

Results will be communicated through the patient portal, by phone, or during a follow-up appointment, depending on the type of test and whether additional discussion is needed.

How do I request a medication refill?

Please request medication refills through the patient portal or by contacting our office. We recommend submitting refill requests before you run out of medication. Some medications may require an appointment or laboratory monitoring before they can be renewed.

Do I need an appointment, or do you accept walk-ins?

Appointments are recommended to help minimize your

wait time and ensure availability. Same-day appointments may be available. Please call the office or check online scheduling before arriving.
